Ways to Help

Donate Blood

Create a Banner
• The principal of Stoneman Douglas High School has requested banners to help line the walls and the outside of the school with words of support, encouragement and love for when the students and teachers return to school. These banners can be dropped off at the Parkland Library, the Watercrest Community Center (ask for Nadia between 9am to 9pm) or our office, 5890 S. Pine Island Road, Davie, FL 33328.

Classroom Supplies for Teachers
• When school resumes at Stoneman Douglas High School, there will be around 30 teachers who will be unable to return to their classrooms and retrieve their materials, supplies and belongings. These teachers will be temporarily moving into conference rooms, computer labs and teaching planning areas for their classes. These teachers are looking for materials, such as posters and decorations, that will make these spaces look like classrooms and school supplies, such as pencils, pens, notebooks, paperclips etc.. The teacher's wishlist has been created on Amazon, If you would like to donate any items for these teachers, they may be brought to the Jewish Federation at 5890 S. Pine Island Road, Davie, FL 33328.
